1.Could you please introduce yourself and Orbler?

My name is Philip, Co-Founder|CEO for ORBLER. I have been working as a head researcher in the cryptocurrency industry since 2017.

Quick story about how we’ve started the project… We’ve always been seriously discussing games since we both have been serious gamers and have actually met each other playing games together 7 years ago.

The first time we discussed a blockchain project for a game was in the fall of 2018. However, at the time, we were more focused on Layer 1 and 2 protocols.

We ideally just talked about blockchain games and non fungible tokens even though the terms weren’t even solidified yet.

Over the years that followed, we gained a lot of experience in our respective positions. With the advent of NFTs and blockchain gaming, we knew that our ideals could become reality.

ORBLER is a defense game that can be played PvP or co-op. Players can combine 5 ORBs (marbles) and ORBLER (Dragon) and add them to the deck. And by calculating and predicting the compatibility between various properties and options, you can take on a higher challenge.

If we could define ORBLER in one phrase, we would call it
‘A fun strategic defense game with sustainability.’

2.Burning of tokens is the Best Thing for Controlling The Price Of The Token And reducing the supply. So, Do you have any plan of burning tokens?

In most economic structures, token burns have been dependent on the buy backs of foundations who feel obligated to sustain the price by use of treasury.

However, in ORBLER, players don’t have to worry about when and how much tokens will be burned arbitrarily by a treasury of foundation.

The MSP token, the main in-game utility token responsible for the spending consumption within ORBLER’s economic structure. This means that a token is automatically burned rather than arbitrarily by an entity. In addition, how the MSP token is minted is also determined by a very strict formula.

This might be a hard concept to understand.

Let me give you an illustration of what this means.

All users who play ‘ORBLER’ act as miners who create a block of Orbler data just as Ethereum miners create and are rewarded for mining a block. Instead of receiving a token of 1 for playing the game once, it means that the token produced in the block is divided according to the proportion of those who have contributed by playing as a whole.

All tokens produced in this way are burned when used except for fees associated with game functions and operation. This is one of the reasons why ORBLER’s economy is sustainable, deflationary and automatically beneficial to the players.

In simple terms, it benefits both the users and the game

All asynchronous server type games are always exposed to the threat of hacking. Compensation acquisition through data forgery is one of the biggest hacking threats, and Game cheating between users is also one of the reasons that threaten game economy and integrity of the game itself.

After spending a lot of time in the crypto industry, I have come to realize that security is ultimately involved with money. Of course, we will do our best at our maximum capacity to ensure transparency and fairness of gameplay for all users. However, the reality is that games without proper surveillance are bound to be attacked, hacked by malicious users no matter how much investment is put into security.

This has always been the case for traditional games and we have seen it even in blockchain games which were set to counteract this.

To effectively and practically implement a surveillance system, we are creating a feature called ‘Mini-Synopticon’. In other words, we are planning to create a “‘DAO watch node’, a watchtower for malicious activity.

So back to the question..! How does this system benefit the users as they hold our token?

Users can stake ORBR tokens to participate in the DAO watch node. Just as users use nodes to mine a block, Orbler users can run programs to participate in ‘secure mining’ for our ORBLER community. By executing the program, when a malicious activity is conducted by another user, the designed function of the program will automatically detect and report the activity. This action is rewarded by MSP token, just as miners are rewarded with a respective token.

Another hard concept… so let’s put it this way.

To illustrate, imagine a grid node system used for P2P download sites, or a node system for maintaining seeds used in torrents.

‘Staking your ORBR token, Join in ‘Mini-Synopticon node’, get MSP token as reward. Fairly simple right??’

Of course, there are also various rights that can be exercised by holding tokens as part of DAO community and we are very open to any ideas to expand features of DAO

How is Orbler in terms of financing to continue the development of the product and establish new partnerships for years to come?

We have been fortunate enough to bootstrap the early stages of development. As we continue our development, we will finance most of our development fees with the sale of our NFTs.

In short term, we are planning to implement other features such as lending and renting.

To expand our P2E game into Metaverse, we are considering creating land sales and create high resolution land defense games in the years to come. Of Course we are and will be open to partnerships with guilds and VCs

2.What is your plan for global expansion? At present, which market does Orbler focus on, or is it focused on building and growing to gain customers, users and partners?

| Orbler Jameson

We are ready to focus on any parts of the world that love our products. But we also keep in mind that there are different parts of the world where cryptocurrency and P2E adaptation is strong.

For example, there has been a growing trend for crypto adaptation in SEA, East Asia, South America, North America and Europe. Out of these continents, we know that countries from SEA and South America have been leaders of the P2E market.

We understand the impact and importance of P2E games in some of the countries like the Philippines which have tremendously been helped by the P2E game to support fight conditions against COVID.

However we feel that rather than focusing on which countries to target and aim, focusing on the quality of game is what is important. Providing great contents in turn will give value to the users and our strongest partner, the users, will be attracted to our product in effect.

3.How secure is Orbler? How has Orbler developed technology and security to build Orbler into a truly secure and reliable platform?

We are preparing many steps to make the project secure. We plan to use a quality firewall for our native servers, security audit for services, regular self security defense test and bug bounty.

We are fully aware that security risk leads to asset risks and potential asset leakage. We will do everything possible to technically prevent this from happening.

Aside from technical security threats, users are concerned with hacking of tokens.

In order to minimize this risk, we may limit token distribution to the wallet by charging a certain amount of tokens to the wallet that users receive their rewards.

By doing so, this may minimize damages done by hacking the token supply. We may have the option to roll back swap the tokens to the user in the worst case scenario.

We are planning to create layers and try our best to counteract any worse case scenarios and opening possibilities for any mishappening.

Other technical information regarding security may open possibilities for security risk so we’ll save our words for security reasons for the time being.

4.I am a crypto investor and I only care about the prospect of a crypto that I choose, tell me the reason why I should choose your token over any existing one? What is your token advantage that can convince me to change from my favorite token?

oh wow. this may be the most difficult question but its a great question

To be honest, in terms of price of the token, I cannot tell you the token will moon with a so called “moon plan” when you invest into our token.

You will see this in many other blockchain projects.

However, what I can tell you is that Orbler’s economic structure is different from others, in ways that it will naturally be in a virtuous economic cycle rather than a vicious one.

For this reason, I think our token has great potential and merit as cryptocurrency.

5. Partnership is like a supplement where the combined effect is beyond the individual level. Can you name some of your recent partnerships that can help your project ? Is there any partnership that will take place in the near future ? Can you tell us with whom ?
